Scott joined Carvel® as President in October 2012. Before joining Carvel®, Scott served as CMO for Bruegger’s Enterprises, Global Marketing Officer for Baskin-Robbins Worldwide, Senior Vice President/Executive Officer, Marketing, Purchasing, and Product Development for Bob Evans Farms, and Vice President, Marketing – Restaurants and Grocery Products for Friendly Ice Cream Corp. He is a proven brand builder with over 30 years of industry experience in general management, marketing, operations, finance, sales, purchasing, product development, manufacturing, franchising, and strategic planning. Since joining Carvel®, Scott and his leadership team have implemented a revitalization strategy that has delivered industry-leading sales growth for the Carvel® brand. His contagious passion for the franchise business and broad base of industry experience have set the stage to take this 80-year-old iconic brand to new heights.

Jim Salerno, VP of Franchise Operations and Marketing

Jim joined Carvel® in June 1998. He began his Carvel® career as a District Manager, then Regional Director and Regional Vice President. He became Vice President of Franchise Operations and Training in 2007.

Jim’s other experience includes Training, Human Resources, and General Manager at both Nathan’s Famous & Uno Pizzeria & Grill, as well as all aspects of food & beverage management at Hilton Hotels Corporation. One of Jim’s passions is his long-time involvement with the CFAC (Carvel Franchise Advisory Council).

Isyol Cabrera, Director of Design and Construction

Isyol joined Carvel® in April 2013. She currently works on the shared services team of Design and Construction for the snacks group within FOCUS Brands®. Her experience includes over 10 years of store development, design, and construction and project management for different companies including Starbucks and Church’s Chicken. Prior to this, Isyol worked in the residential and commercial field for many years. Isyol oversees the store development phase of a project from initial concept design through construction and store opening. She ensures that the brand’s image and operational standards are upheld to reflect Carvel’s® current design guidelines and will guide you through the design and construction process.

Nicolle DuBose, Senior Director of Marketing

Nicolle joined Carvel® as Director of Marketing in 2017. During her teenage years, she helped run her family’s Dairy Queen Franchise. Nicolle started her professional career on the agency side as a media planner and buyer, which ultimately led her to the client side. Nicolle’s held an extensive career in food marketing for over 15 years with brands such as Arby’s®, Atlanta Bread®, and Moe’s Southwest Grill®. Prior to joining Carvel®, Nicolle was the Director of Marketing for FOCUS Brands® International where she led the brand marketing for Carvel®, Cinnabon®, Moe’s Southwest Grill® and Schlotzsky’s®. Nicolle oversees the brand marketing, advertising, website, and all things associated with Carvel®’s brand evolution.
